Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery requires between 4 to 6 years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training following graduation from dental school. Dr. Zarrinkelk is capable of treating a wide variety of diseases, injuries and defects of Oral and Facial structures. Dr. Zarrinkelk practices the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from the routine such as Dental Implant Surgery and Wisdom Tooth Removal to the complex such as Corrective Jaw Surgery, repair of traumatic injuries and tumor surgery.
Our Doctor and staff are experts in outpatient General Anesthesia and Sedation techniques. All anesthesia services are provided in our state-of-the-art office setting. Patients are continuously and fully monitored during and after surgery by our capable staff. Our facility undergoes periodic inspections by the California Association of OMS to insure requirements are met. The surgical staff members at our office are experienced, certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who assist in administration of anesthesia and surgery. Our surgical support team undergoes periodic emergency drills as well as continuing education and testing.
Our administrative personnel are energetic and helpful individuals. They are all well-versed in healthcare matters such as insurance policies and privacy protection. We require our entire personnel regardless of duty to be CPR certified. We do not employ part-time or per-diem staffing to assure comprehensive training and experience.
